Gouache Secret - Yuqi

HELLO everyone,
Today I will tell you a secret!!!



Some people think all gouache (pronounced ‘gwosh’) is handmade I will tell you the truth. Look at the picture above, that is handmade. Why? Because there are some raised edges. Look at the sun and the sea, you can see for yourself! That's why the sea looks so realistic✔️! In order to know for sure you can try to touch it!

Now, look at this picture below.

Look at the leaves, they're small and tight. We can' t do that with painted stain, it's fake ❌. An easy method to know the difference is to touch it. If it's flat it's computer-generated. If it's uneven then it's handmade.

Show Review: Riverdale - Jiahe

My favourite TV show is called Riverdale. It is a Netflix series based on characters from the Archie comics. Right now there are already 4 seasons and season 5 will start in January 2021. The name of the show Riverdale is actually the name of the small town where the story happens. The story begins one night, when They find the dead body of Jason Blossom, and the main characters try to solve this mystery. This is how they found out about the dark story of their town and their own past. After that night, can they still trust each other? Because we never know who the people around us are hiding. I really like this series because there is a lot of suspense and it is unpredictable. Also I like to guess what will happen. I think my favorite character in Riverdale is Betty Cooper because she is very smart and has the darkest past.     --Jiahe
